Talking to a couple’s therapist takes courage! A relationship specialist provides a safe space where issues can be expressed. As difficult feelings and thoughts come up, they can be explored between the couple without judgment or blame.
Developing new communication skills can transform a relationship. Other times, it is necessary to do deep work to create a partnership with new agreements and new ways of connecting.
We encourage and support you understanding one another, building secure attachment, transparent communication, and deep, passionate, and intimate love.
Our staff will reach out via the method you select to learn more about your goals, preferences, and any previous therapy experiences (good or bad). We will set up a time for both parties in the relationship to talk with your prospective therapist.
This will be a free 20-minute consultation.
In the first session we will discuss the primary focus of therapy, the disconnect, and each person will share their background.
Each person has the opportunity to share their perspective on the disconnect or primary focus and what intentions one might have for the future together.
In subsequent sessions, we continue working with the underlying issue while practicing the learned skills for effective communication.
As you both bring the unconscious parts of yourself into consciousness, you can understand one another more deeply and find a path of healing. You likely have heard the phrase, “we heal in relationship.” As we understand ourselves and our partner, we are able to ask for what we need, which establishes a rhythm of turning toward one another.
Couples therapy can also take place outdoors with a nature-based therapy approach.

I have worked closely with Evolve in Nature for years. In doing so, I have transformed my life and my subsequent relationships. Shelly is exceptional at what she does. She is dedicated, kind, compassionate, intelligent, and truly cares about her clients. I would not be where I am today, both personally or professionally, if not for her gentle guidance. I highly recommend Shelly - she is the best!
Heather is absolutely amazing! The time and conversations I have with Heather push me to challenge my long-held (and outdated) ways of being and beliefs about the way things must be. I always find the work we do together to be incredibly powerful. She is an agent for change and a catalyst for transformation. So grateful for Heather!
I highly recommend Megan as a psychotherapist, especially for those suffering from issues stemming from anxious attachments, relational trauma, or addiction. Committing to therapeutic work with Megan transformed me and greatly improved my ability to be engaged and present in my daily life. With her help, I am now secure in my relationships, and my work, my physical and mental health, and my outlook on life have all been positively impacted.
